Georges Barboteu, French Horn, plays the Four Horn Concerti of Mozart and Duvernoy's Horn Concerto No.5 in F.

These recordings have been digitally restored from original LP sources.

Georges Barboteu was born in Algeria where his father was horn professor at the Conservatoire d'Algiers. Beginning in 1948 he played in the French Orchestre National, Opera-comique and Paris Opera. From 1953 until 1961 Barboteu was a member of the Societe des Concerts du Conservatoire. In 1967 he became principal horn of the Orchestre de Paris until 1989.
