Standard slide oil is a medium viscosity lubricant for general use. It maintains the air seal and protects against wear and corrosion.

Heavy slide oil is designed for for looser fitting slides and slides of shorter length (e.g. 1st slides). Helps prevent the binding of shorter slides when making intonation adjustments.
