This combination holding strap and handguard is designed to keep your left hand from sliding and to take the pressure off your little finger. It's held on by velcro straps with no need to solder anything to the instrument. The fingerhook anchors it firmly in place. The loop can be easily adjusted to fit any size hand.

Fine Leather,nicely padded, tapered so that it cushions your grip without interfereing with the valve action. Adjustable. This guard includes a metal mounting stud that has to be soldered on to the horn. A velcro stap keeps it tightly on the bell.

Our french horn handguards are made with three layers of protection. The outside layer is a soft glove leather. The inside layer is a fine velvet that will not scratch the finish of your horn. In between those two layers is a sheet of thin plastic which acts as a moisture barrier. The handguards fasten with Velcro or laces, depending on your particular horn.

We found this Pro-Mark Drum Roll Stick Wrap to be a perfect wrapping tape for french horn. This gauze-type tape sticks to itself but not to the horn eliminating sticky residue. This wrap is sold in a roll of 1 inch by 15 yards. Availible in black, red, blue, and purple.
