Hoyer's Kruspe/8D model horn plays great, looks great. The valves are quick, quiet, and tight. The slides are perfectly aligned and pull smoothly. The horn plays well in tune, responds quickly, and has the kind of tone quality that comes from generations of dedicated German horn-building.

Hoyer Flight case

This horn is identical to the 6802NSA-L except for the mechanical valve linkages. Mechanical linkages are favored by the majority of European players. Hoyer uses a modern ball bearing-in bronze (3B) link system that has no lost motion and never needs adjustment. (The change valve utilizes the same string linkage as the 6802.)
