Cups Each model number represents a specific cup contour. Each contour is available in three different inside diameters, Standard, Wide, and Metric, and a variety of bore sizes. (The metric cups have their own separate model numbers.) Any of our stock cups can be used with any rim as long as the inside diameters are the same, eg. CH cup with V1 rim, NYW cup with LW rim.  Bore sizes and options not listed, such as Euro spec shanks, are available on special order and normally add three-to-four weeks to the delivery time. Use the Notes: field to specify options and unlisted bore sizes.

It has a very shallow cup designed to support the higher harmonics while maintaining a full (but clear) body of sound. It works especially well on descant and triple horns.
